The Blood Omen is an experimental weapon which killed the entire planet of Raxion II and 50 million lives. The attack supposedly came from the Novus Federation…But I’m not so sure.
In Star-Shift, in order to set the tone for the world that the characters live in, there will be parts of the game where you are “watching the news” so to speak and it kind of fills you in on the propaganda of this theoretical society (the ESA).
This is obviously about 30 minutes of work, but the format can be greatly improved so that in game you get a feel for the overall world without everything being spoon fed to the character individually.
